Joining Vallecito Nordic at the $75 or $100 level gives you one drawing ticket. You can obtain up to 7 more (8 total) if you join AND make a donation to our Snow Rabbit 3 fund or our general fund. DEMO DAY & SKI CLINICs

Demo Days: Local shops and Fischer, will have equipment to try. VNC will offer ski lessons/clinics in both skating and classic skiing to anyone interested.. We haven’t confirmed, but hope that Rossignol and Salomon ski reps will also participate.

PRID Day-Use Permit:

Ski Clinic

VNC will offer ski lessons in both skating and classic skiing at 11 am and 1 pm. Meet at Madden Corners (about 400 yards downhill from the trailhead) about 10 to 15 minutes before the lesson time to find the group you are interested in. We will have classic, intro skate and intermediate skate classes. We will also have cookies!

Skiers must provide their own equipment. HOWEVER, Pine Needle Mountaineering and Backcountry Experience are offering free rentals for people taking lessons. This is on a first-come first-served basis starting 3:00 pm Friday. Equipment must be returned Saturday afternoon or early Sunday, or you can pay to rent and practice your new skills on Sunday!
